Analyst Playoff Predictions

This season, the Eight Conference Champs will all be in the Playoff. The Quarterfinal round has plays pre-assigned based on conference, with teams being re-seeded afterwards. Myself, Peter, and Cousin Luke will all be making predictions on the 8 team playoff! Here we go below, going round by round.

Quarter-Final Stage:

DAVID:
Southeastern Champ: Miami (FL)
                  vs
Deep South Champ: Alabama

Winner: Alabama (The Tide rolls on behind a great running game and the Hurricanes inability to stop Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, and Calvin Ridley on deep routes)

Southwestern Champ: Texas
                  vs
Midwestern Champ: Oklahoma

Winner: Oklahoma (As so often happened in the 2000s, the Sooners beat their rivals soundly behind a balanced offensive attack and punishing defensive attitude)

Big Five Champ: Ohio State
                vs
Big East Champ: Penn State

Winner: Ohio State (The Buckeyes spread Penn State out, causing linebackers to be in too much space against too much speed, as Zek Elliot has a field day)

Northwestern Champ: Oregon
                 vs
West Coast Champ: USC

Winner: USC (the Trojans are my #1 seed and their talented team cannot be upended against the fast but ineffectual defense of the Oregon Ducks)

PETER:

Florida State vs Alabama
Winner: Alabama

Texas vs Nebraska
Winner: Nebraska

Michigan vs Pitt
Winner: Michigan

Stanford vs USC
Winner: USC

COUSIN LUKE:

Florida vs Tennessee
Winner: Florida

LSU vs Oklahoma
